Welcome to Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited

Jackson Hole, Wyoming may not appear on your map, but if you find Jackson, you're close enough. Stay for more than a few days, and you'll learn that locals call our home "Jackson Hole"—a holdover from the days when fur trappers first stumbled over nearby high mountain passes and gazed down on the Snake River Valley—a spectacular "hole" in the mountains for sure.

Trout Unlimited is a national organization dedicated to conserving, protecting, and restoring North American's trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds. As one of 455 chapters nationwide, Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited is comprised of active, hard-working volunteers who have taken on numerous fishery projects around the Snake River Valley.

Surrounded by Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park, the National Elk Refuge, and countless acres of National Forest lands, the Snake River and its tributaries here in Jackson Hole provide one of the most rich and productive fisheries in the entire world. We're helping to keep it that way.

Please explore our website to learn more about our projects, events and future goals. Of course, help yourself to some of our fishing advice as well!
